Arkam Asylum came out recently. I've only played the demo but it was fun. Inspired me to do this character sketch. I was going for a courtney love/nancy spungen mugshot vibe.

She likes a guy who can make her laugh.

Dominance War Mini Comp: War General Pet Portraits
Switched up my technique a lil using this Notan jutsu. It's a more focused and guided approach instead of the "straight up" mentality I usually do. I learn a new thing everyday.

Long story short, I had to reformat my hardrive so I lost any and all progress on my bird general so I didn't finish on time. Good news is my computer is zippin along faster than evar! Also this:

I wanted to create and animate a model that showed off the female figure, but also had a lot of potential to be physically active. SO I chose a fairy. A feral fairy. Took around 16 hours total :/ which is 12 hours too long. Here was the WIP:

I decided to put away ol' temple guard and enlist as a soldier for gameArtisans in the upcoming Dominance War. For the preceding minicomp we were given an SDK (skin development kit) which was a premade model with laid out UVs. We were to texture and map a bust of a war general. I started late but hopefully I'll finish. Since GA's colors are black and gold I decided to go with a crow looking guy. At first I was thinking of bearded wulfgar type guy but I couldnt get the beard to work out on the model.

Not yet done but gettin thar. He looks like a Crayola box but I'm winging the design because I'm using this model as an exercise. Also, before this his color scheme made him look like a gingerbread man. I decided to make a ultra low poly model and focus on my texture painting. The idea is to give the illusion of depth to a model that looks like gumby. After looking at my last model, it was evident that my textures were a glaring weakness. Ugh:

Took a decent sketch from my lil bro and arstified it. Amazingly I didn't even fuck w/ the lineart. Just dabbed on some color in Photoshop. wesley pipes. yea.

But right now all I can post is more Meth Minute stuff I worked on. Most of my stuff is the backgrounds. I did some of the mantis key animations as well.

I did most of the art for this one. I traced the tyson bitmap in flash, created the animation for all of his movements, did the key animation/roughs for the waitress and waiter getting punched, and did some of the key poses on the girls. I also made the background and props. I didn't get to hear the track to this one while working on it but when Dan put it all together it turned out better than I expected. Hope you enjoy.

I did all the animation for the the horse, the owl, and the roaring monster. I also made the background image from a photo I jacked off the net. Heh, jacked off.. Anyways I'll be posting more of the Meth Minute stuff I contributed to.
